On Wednesday March 30th about 15 of us, mostly our youth, went over to the local Methodist Church, and joined forces with them as a team to prepare food, to help lessen the burdens of many of the homeless and hungry in our mountain community. Hundreds of meals are being prepared every week, and some are delivered to various places in the community, others come and pick up their meals directly at the church.
This is a wonderful weekly labor of service that the Methodist Church hosts, and we help them as well from time to time. We are grateful to be able to work with them hand in hand to help many of those within our local mountain community. We believe it is a great service and and we assist on a quarterly basis.
