Full Time Missionaries

Hello. I'm Sister Emily Johnson,
a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints
...having served in Laie, Hawaii at the temple visitor center and vicinity from Oct 2021 to Feb 2023
It all started with my decision to serve a mission. I met with my Bishop, and filled out all the paper work, and in that process I also said I could speak Mandarin Chinese fairly good. In the end, I got called to serve in the Mandarin Speaking capacity of the Mission at Honolulu Hawaii.
When I received my call to serve there, I was overcome with thankful emotion, and began the process of "packing my bags" and filled a couple of suitcases with living supplies.
